Merge ...

Please write here how you think about a merge with Tear.

The way to do it would be to create a new guild (the name has to be found) with Smithz as GM and me or who ever you want it to be as Co-GM with same rights.

I am not negative in the idea to merge with other guild. but imo need to have some passion and make some raid with them first before we greate a new guild.
I have bad experience on another occasion and i thing that moves need little more time to see how it go.
In that period we have time to discussed with them the set-up of the new guild.

Guys maybe we can try to take a new ppl ?

We have 5-6 healers we have 3 tank and we miss only dps

So i think its no problem to find a new ppl for dps

we can disc this, how long you want guys, problem is that if we w8 to long in 3 weeks there will be no guild.

I think trying to find new members is going to be difficult. If you look on the Sylvanas forums there is a huge number of guilds looking for members. The problem with WotLK making raids more friendly to starter guilds is that there's more guilds and less people appying to each one. The number of applies we've had since the start of WotLK has seriously dropped.

I think merging is a good idea but I agree with Myangel that we should do a few co-op raids to test the waters first.

Agree with Icha, low chance to recruit ppl also Myangel is right that we cant decide after just 1 raid with Tear, still we need to make the decision soon.

Our best chance is to merge with Tear and we should do it fast to be able to build up dkp and get rank at wowjutsu. The next patch is coming live in about 4 weeks and we need to gear up as much as we can, coz the new raid instance will be more challenging than the wotlk raid instances.

Here some details we spoke about so far for the new guild:

Smithz would be GM with me as Co-GM, simply coz Smithz has more time to take care of the guild. He offered that i can be GM.

Ranks: trial / member / raider / officer

About officer rank: a suggestion is to dont have class leaders, instead have only tank/heal/dps leaders.

We would use same dkp system and raiding rules as we have now.

A new guild needs a name, so please post ur ideas here.

I know we all would rather go on with WD, just i dont see how So if u want to do 25man raids and be prepared for the upcoming patch, open ur mind for a merge.

We dont disband WD, maybe in future there is a chance to revive it.

For the moment, I am not convinced that we cannot revitalize the guild, but I can't be against the merge completely.
I think we need to get comfortable with Tear before making a merge.

I dont want IT!.- well Yes i am not that activ. But I am the player beeing longest on the server of all of us.! well why dont I leave since my only IRL friends stil allive on thisserver is in another guild. Simply Cuz some of u PLAYAS, giving me alot of fun! and alot of game.! if we wanna merge with someone i have LOTS of bettter options IMO. But NO i dont want it. i have fun with u ppls. i can also see we are few:! But we are good. u can see in the raid with those ppl!: we have SUPERB MT, we have top 2-3 dps and top 2-3 healers..... why we going with them!!!:! I think I will leave if we merge. (ofc since im kinda unactiv u dont care =) =)) if we get PPl here, i wanna help!. tho ofc i dont have alot of time nowadays..! but I like this guild and alot of the PLAYAS! HUG Dannni the treee. THE biggest TREE! Stick to this... dont make me go for hardcore guild again =)

I just saw we are very few left... im to busy with working atm!:- but i like u guys,,, of rly good ppl we only lost, sly sooos and cold..... Tho we need a new clear GM not a lvl 72 priest.. = ) if u wanna continue ofc. To make it clear again. I wont merge with anyone . But i wanna try to get new peeeps, if u wanna try this option stil, i would help when we get to february!. when my work is getting easier Cheers from the tree again.

I left WoW aside for a month. Exams are going to hit me in a week and I'll be working meanwhile, plus - I wants a wow-free month to clear my head

I'll probably come back around the 14th of February and I hope that you'll accept me back, not as a hard-core raider though... However, this merge sounds nice, picturing the wow recruitment forum. Lots of guilds looking for lots of players is a factor with which we all must cope.
