Guild rules/Raiding Rules Empty
PostSubject: Guild rules/Raiding Rules   Guild rules/Raiding Rules I_icon_minitimeSat Nov 10, 2007 5:19 am

Welcome to Wanton Destruction Guild's forum.
Our rules are simple as can be.
When you walk arround the World of Warcraft we expect you to be dedicated to our cause. Our goal is endgame and we wont accept any excuse for slacking out of anything we decide to do.
Everyone is allowed to play this game and have fun, no matter his definition of fun.
You are allowed to play characters and alts outside guild.
You are allowed to have fun with anyone you want at any time.

All we want is when guild has plans for something and you are available, to join us!
We dont want 100% attendance to anything (not that it will not be cool to do so) but we sure want your full attention when you decide to log on a character that "belongs" to the guild. And by "full attention" we mean be prepared at anytime to be a part of progress. None is excused to come to a raid unprepared!
Unfortunately we have and we will kick you out if you dont show up without notice for too long. Forum is here. Use it to notify us for anything thats keeping you away.

If you dont feel like raiding its fine. Play an alt or something. But dont just idle in IF while we struggle to fill a spot in order to progress. It wont be tolerated.

Apart from that, we only want from you the usual "dont be rude", "respect your guildmates", "if you are troubled with something inside guild, turn to some of us to find a solution", "read boss tactics", "pay attention to guild planned events" and "log on forum" advices to be taken seriously.

The Wanton Team.

Guild rules/Raiding Rules Empty
PostSubject: Re: Guild rules/Raiding Rules   Guild rules/Raiding Rules I_icon_minitimeFri Jan 11, 2008 7:55 pm

The following rules are made to make the raids better organised and to keep the raid waiting times to a minimum.
The rules apply to anyone who come on our raids, and therefore must have read the rules and follow them.

Raid Preperation
Because Trials still have to prove their worth. Not following these rules can result in a Guild kick!

1. You must show up on raids with these addons:
(be sure to have tested if your addons work BEFORE the raid starts)
-Omen3
-Deadly Boss Mod
-oRA2
For communication we use:
-Ventrilo

2. You must have enabled voice, and have sound on your speakers or headset. (A working Mic is not needed)

3. You must come prepared on all our raids with enough reagents to last an entire raid! Anyone not coming prepared or running out of reagents early, can be replaced and/or can get a -DKP penalty.
To be sure you have enough reagents for an entire raid we require you to be/have:
- Fully repaired (this means your gear is 100%)
- 25Health/25 Mana Pots (depends on what you use)
- 1 Full stack of BUFF food/Pots/Elixir or instead of the elixir you can also have enough flasks for the amount of time we raid. (this is very class dependable, ask your Classleader if you're unsure what you need)
- 2 full stacks of bandages
- Have enough candles, dusts, symbols etc. (this depends on the class you are)

4. Be on time at the start of the raid or your spot can be given and you miss the raid.

Raiding Rules

1. Going AFK without notifying the Raid leader, and the raid wipes or has to wait to long for you to return. Can result in a raidkick with a -dkp penalty.

2. As we are a friendly guild and we do like to joke around on raid chat or even voice.
During tactics and a boss fight we expect full focus and absolute silence.

3. Be positive and have a good attitude during the raids. Whining and demoralizing will not be tolerated!

Ranks

Guild Master
The one making the calls, set's out the guild goals and the way to take to reach it.
Leads the raids, handles the DKP and forum, assigns Raid Leader/Classleaders.

Raid Leader
Will take over leading the Guild/Raids when the Guild Master isn't on.
His primary duty will be to Lead the Raids and handle DKP.
He is the only one besides the GM who has the power to kick.

Classleader
The ones who are the arms and ears of the GM, without their knowledge and dedication the guild will not function.
They will lead their class in raids, recruit, judge skill and gear.
Most of all they are a master in their class where every member can turn to for guidance.

Raider
You are the core of the guild.
Being a raider means you proved to be skilled, able to learn, and be always prepared.
The requirements to become and stay a raider are tough, you're only allowed to miss 1 raid a week.
You get demoted when for 2 weeks on row you miss more then 1 raid per week!

Member
You still have to prove your worth to obtain the raider rank.
You're activity is atleast 3 raids a week but not yet enough to get raider rank.
Trials when passing the trial period, first get promoted to this rank.
You have a disadvantage when bidding against raider rank (See DKP Spending below).

Trial
You are the new guy, all eyes will be on you while spending your time on this rank.
You will be judged on your skill, preparedness, activity and most off all attitude.
You can be kicked anytime for not making the requirements or bad attitude.
The trial period lasts 3 weeks.

Friend
This is a honorable rank for our longtime and very good friends who can't or want to raid like we do anymore.
So no we won't accept friends of friends who in the end no one knows anymore!

Loot

Tanks:
The guild will have 1 MT and 1 OT, who will win loot prio to anyone else, loot is being distributed for 2x the minimum amount.
The guild MT and OT will be selected from very active and trusted raiders (done by GM/CL).
Rest of the guild tanks will be bidding like the normal raid spending rules (see below).

Vortexes, Primal Nethers, BoE Patterns/recipes:
These will always go to the Guildbank, on a later time the officers decide to who it goes.
BoP patterns/recipes will be on the spot decided by the Raidleader and/or officers to who it goes.
The decision will be based on who benefits most of it and is best for the guild.

Offspec Gear:
When no one needs an item we will put it up for bidding as offspec.
The minimum amount will be lowered by 50%.
Example: item normal minimum is 300 DKP when for offspec bidding the new minimum will be 150 DKP.
Bids lower then the minimum will be ignored and if no one bids on the item, it will be DE'd and goes to the Guildbank.

10 player instances:
In these instances we don't use dkp instead we roll.
But the Raid leader and/or officers can also decide to assign a loot without rolling, this is to ensure that we gear everyone to the required level for future instances.

DKP Awards

10dkp - Ironman (This you get for staying from beginning until end)
10dkp - every 1h of a farm raid
15 dkp - every 1h of a new encounter raid
40/50/60/70 dkp - every farm boss kill (depends on the instance)
80/100/120/140 dkp - every new boss kill.

In addition good raids will receive DKP bonuses beyond the standard gain, so, always do your best!

The DKP range for all items is 100 - 800 points.

Players that have signed up, and were on time to raid, but did not get a spot due to specific encounter requirements, may stay online during the entire raid, to gain 20% of the total earned dkp for that night.

DKP Spending

Every item drop will be put up for bidding. The system is free for all bidding, but we ask that you think before bidding about how it will influence raid progress.

When the bids are opened each eligible player may send one (1) bid to the master looter with a DKP value no lower than the lowest allowed bid for the item class (random epic or tier token). When bidding is over a winner will be announced, the highest DKP bid will be deducted from the highest bidder's DKP total. If the difference in DKP bid between the highest bidder and the second highest bidder is 50+dkp, the item is given to the highest bidder for the second highest bidder's bid +50dkp. If any number of bidders tie for an item, loot distribution will be decided based on a /random 100 roll from each of the tied players. The winner is the awarded the item at the cost of his bid. Please note, negotiated DKP bids to force ties are not allowed, and will be severely penalized.

Same rank examples:
Example 1: 3 bids for an item, Abujahal 20, Erylye 50, Noobsy 70. Noobsy and Erylye are the two highest bidders, but the difference is lower than 50 (70-50=20), Noobsy wins the item for 70 dkp.

Example 2: 3 bids for an item, Abujaha 20, Erylye 50, Noobsy 200. Noobsy and Erylye are 2 highest bidders, since the difference in DKP is 150 (200-50) the item goes to Noobsy for 100dkp (50+50).

Example 3:
3 bids for an item, Abujahal 20, Noobsy 150, Erylye 150. Erylye and Noobsy tie for the highest bid, and the loot is given to the winner of a /random 100 roll.

Example 4:
1 bid for an item, Abujahal 200. Abujahal is the highest bidder if there is no one else bidding, the second highest bidder is considered to have bid 100dkp (min dkp item value). Abujahal get's the item for 100dkp.

Raider > Member rank examples:
Example 5: 2 bids for an item, Abujahal raider 500, Noobsy member 600. Since Abujahal is raider his advantage against Noobsy member is 50%, in this case it means that Abujahal's bids counts for 750 (500+50%=750) against the 600 that Noobsy bids.
Abujahal get's the item for 500dkp.

Example 6: 3 bids for an item, Abujahal raider 1000, Noobsy member 1500, Erylye trial 1100. Erylye's bid will be ignored as he can't compete against higher ranks. On the other hand Abujahal's 50% rank advantage kick's in against Noobsy, this means that Abujahal bids 1500 (1000+50%=1500) and Noobsy 1500, a tie between Raider and Member means the raider will win. Abujahal get's the loot for 1000dkp.

Example 7: 2 bids for an item, Abujahal raider 1000, Noobsy member 1600. Abujahal's bid is 1500 (1000+50=1500) against Noobsy. Noobsy get's the item for 1550dkp (1500+50).

DKP Penalties

-10dkp - Going AFK for any reason at any time during the raid without making the raid leader aware
-10dkp - Signed up and late to raid
-15dkp - Signed up and no show to raid
-50dkp - Leaving raid early, without notifying RL at start of raid about your limited game time.

Please note that the raid leader may assign additional penalties as needed during the raid. If a player is kicked out of the raid due to unsatisfactory performance, no dkp is gained for that raid, and the player will receive a -10 dkp penalty cumulative with any other penalties received prior.

We use a guild rank-based loot priority bidding system. Here is the hierarchy of bidding:

Guild Master/Raid Leader/Class Leader/Raider >50%> Member >>> Trial

When a Trial rank bids against a Raider and/or Member rank, the Raider and/or Member rank will automatically win the bid

When you send your bids, you must also specify your rank in the guild to simplify and speed up the loot distribution process. Here is how you should wisper your bids to the master looter:

"raider 20" , "member 70" or "trial 100" all officers can use the raider tag, since it is equivalent for purposes of loot.
